About The Ambitions Foundation

Ambition exists everywhere.
Opportunity should too.

We are a registered charity working to advance education and widen opportunity for children and young people aged 4–18 who face social or economic barriers.

Believe.
Learn.
Build.
Move.

Why we exist

Potential is not the problem.

Children and young people can have the ability, ideas and ambition to move forward while still facing barriers to learning, confidence, networks, resources or opportunity.

The Ambitions Foundation exists to help close that gap. We create educational support, mentoring, skills development and opportunities that help young people recognise what is possible and build practical routes towards it.

Our mission

Confidence to believe. Support to progress. Opportunity to move forward.

Our mission is to help children and young people build the confidence, learning, skills and access they need to shape stronger futures.

01

Believe & Become

Build self-belief, identity, voice and a sense of direction.

02

Learn & Progress

Remove barriers to education and help young people make meaningful learning progress.

03

Skills & Opportunity

Develop practical skills and widen access to future pathways and experiences.

Our first programmes

Three programmes. One connected approach.

The programmes are the public-facing work. The three focus areas sit behind them as our strategic framework.

Who we work with

Young people first. Partnership around them.

Our work is designed around children and young people, but meaningful support rarely happens in isolation. We want to work alongside families, schools, community organisations, professionals, employers, volunteers and funders.

Our initial delivery is being developed in Milton Keynes, with the charity registered to operate throughout England.

Governance

A registered charity with education at its core.

The Ambitions Foundation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered in England and Wales. Charity number 1213982.

Our charitable purpose centres on advancing the education of children and young people aged 4–18 who experience social and economic disadvantage, including through learning support, resources, mentoring and skills development.
